The jury of the Innovation Prize Rheinland-Pfalz 2016 thought that INNOtec’s innovative systems were so convincing that they awarded this recognition. The monitoring system represents "an important tool for noise reduction in rail traffic", the reasons. Siegfried Pieper is clear that he has met with his system in times of ever greater noise discussion a nerve.
